In July, the city of Jacksonville Beach will be attempting to limit the hours that local bars/restaurants can stay open serve alcohol. Also The city will be trying to push through rules that will eliminate the ability for these businesses to remove dinner tables and chairs for late night to accommodate bands and persons to safely dance. Proposal verbiage: -Change the alcohol ord. to prohibit restaurants from removing tables and chairs to become nightclubs. -Consider modifications to the regulations governing the hours of operation for restaurants with 4-COP-SRX beverage licences.
