TBT: Firey shrimp boat wreck on Jacksonville Beach.
These 9 photos Dan Toel took of a fishing boat named "Capt. Jesse Perry" back in 1966 that was wrecked on Jacksonville beach in front of the long gone Tom Thumb cabins. He lived with his wife in a house across the street from them at that time. The boat stayed washed up on the beach for almost a year then was burned. The story goes that the pilot fell asleep.
