About ATF’s involvement and the reward they offered.
Was Jared Bridegan a federal agent? No, he was not. Has ATF offered rewards before? Yes, throughout various areas of the country. ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) is a law enforcement agency in the United States’ Department of Justice and like the other agencies previously mentioned as providing JBPD assistance, they have resources that smaller agencies do not always have. Again it is not uncommon for additional agencies to assist with investigations particularly when they offer different resources. The ultimate goal of all agencies is to work together to solve crimes. JBPD appreciates the assistance we have received from these other agencies.

I passed by this area at the time posted. The turning lane on to Jacksonville Drive from South Beach Parkway was blocked off by a landscaping crew working in the median of South Beach Parkway. I'd estimate the landscaping crew would've been within earshot of any gunfire where the attack is alleged to have happened.

I love when people use the word alleged, or allegedly. It is usually smart people that use these words. They don’t just automatically assume that what the police are saying is correct. Keep up the good work concerned citizen
