I live on Forest and my backyard is Florida. Over the last 33 years, the traffic has become unbelievably worse! Would a roundabout help? I don’t know. I do known that huge 18 wheelers have no place in a residential area! We don’t have any businesses anywhere on Penman or Florida that use big trucks.

I appreciate and greatly encourage the beautification and walkability of our city. I ride my bicycle to work everyday, have now for all this year. When I first started I thought penman would be a good route, not so. So much broken concrete makes the sidewalk unbearable to ride on; South of the five-point light.
In the packet above only a stock photo is used for the walk/bike road. A separate and dedicated walk/bike road is necessary. Restricting golf carts off of this walk/bike road is also necessary. Minimizing the invisibility of pedestrians, and reducing the amount of cross-contamination between vehicles and pedestrians, needs to be a first objective.

The whole point of “right in, right out”, is to mitigate congestion. Is there any valid reason that the subdivision at Emma Lane is so conspicuously absolved of the “right in, right out” mandate? I mean, Emma Lane is a relatively small subdivision and will be within about 1/4 mile of the traffic circle at Penman & Florida Blvd. Heck, not even the churches on Penman get special dispensation from the “right in, right out” traffic plan.

Very good question.

Southbound traffic can't turn left onto Cedar St.? That will be a show-stopper for all residents of Neptune by the Sea!
