Just some facts on Gate developing the "Outpost"
Gate sold 12,000 acres to the State of FL in mid 80’s including 5 miles of ocean front for pennies on the dollar. If Gate did not jump in and grab that land it would have been developed by most likely Sawgrass. The "outpost" property they will develop is only 99 acres. I think the 12,000 acres practically GIVEN to the state is a fair trade for the Outpost development.
