*UPDATE* FOUND SAFE!

Missing Child Has Been Found
On 05/25/2023, at approximately 7:07 am, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department received a call from a
person who stated they believed they spotted the subject with the missing baby that was reported this morning
over the Amber Alert System, at approximately 6:56 am. Officers arrived on scene and the subject was not there.
However, officers received a second call that said the suspect and baby were in the area of 12th Avenue South
and 1st Street in Jacksonville Beach. Officers continued to search that area and located the subject with the baby
walking onto the beach. The baby was safely recovered and the suspect taken into custody without incident. The
above pictures are those taken immediately after both baby and suspect were safely taken into custody. Officers
then contacted the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office who assumed the investigation were the report originated. Great
job to those involved officers locating this baby so quickly! Great team effort between agencies!
