The recent brief water outage in Neptune beach was due to a electrical pump that overheated and shut down, like it should do when over heated. This prevents further damage. Normally the water supply in the tall tower off Florida Blvd, would provide gravitational water pressure when a electric pump goes offline, however the water tank is currently empty due to maintenance. Hats off to the CONB public works department which pulled together and were able to resume water pressure within a short time after the pump shut down.
