JB i was asked to share this:
"On Tuesday, October 29th my friend Caleb Williams was falsely accused of aggravated assault towards a lady 65 years or older. Caleb never made any threats or physical contact with the lady at all and simply held a rusted machete that was holding up a political sign, which fell off when the picture was taken. The only physical altercation that took place was by the woman who called the police and pushed my friend. My friend then peacefully walked away. We understand the stupidity of this action but no aggravated assault or threats were taken place. We are collection adonations to support the true side of the story that the media fails to display. We hope this money can go towards the bond and lawyer fees for his family as well as for this false accusation that has taken place. We hope to spread the word of the true situation.
We hope to end false accusations and fake news that can ruin people's lives by trying to fabricate a story.
Thank you everyone no matter what side you may be on for reading this."

"What occurred and the true story. The media coverage has exaggerated the event. According to this witness, a substitute teacher from Fletcher High School, who was not identified by police or news reports, was involved in the altercation. The witness stated that the teacher pushed one of the minors where the minor simply just walked away, but police did not pursue assault charges, even though multiple people reported this to officers. The witness noted that a machete, reportedly held by an 18-year-old in custody, was actually being used as a handle with a sign taped to it, not as a weapon. Then when the photo was taken of Caleb Williams holding the machete the sign had fallen off moments before.
The witness described the situation as starting when a group of teens arrived to wave flags, likely intending to exercise their First Amendment rights but also potentially to provoke. The teacher, after pushing one of the boys, called 911, describing the situation as an attack on the polling station with “guns and machetes.” Police arrived swiftly, reportedly with hands on their guns, and had the teens raise their hands before detaining the 18-year-old with the machete. However, according to the witness, the scene never escalated to a real threat. This bystander expressed frustration with the selective reporting of the incident and emphasized the importance of truthful, complete media coverage to promote unity rather than division."
