JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - June 28, 2013 – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is expanding the weekend summer hours for the Beaches Trolley service. For only $1.50 per trip, passengers can enjoy a hassle-free ride on JTA’s Beaches Trolley. The Trolley operates along Third Street between South Beach Parkway Shopping Center and Atlantic Village Shopping Center.
Starting the weekend of July 4th the Beaches Trolley will extend its hours to the following:
• In honor of Independence Day, the Beaches Trolley will run every 30 minutes on July 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
• Starting Friday, July 5, 2013, the Trolley’s hours are 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., running every 30 minutes throughout the summer season
• Starting Saturday, July 6, 2013, the Trolley’s hours are 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., running every 30 minutes throughout the summer season
• Starting Sunday, July 7, 2013, the Trolley’s hours are 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., running every 30 minutes throughout the summer season
In addition to the extended summer hours, the Beaches Trolley will continue to run during its regular business hours.
