'The Oceanside Surf Club'..(Florida, Jacksonville Beach)

This is a photo of Florida’s Premier Surf Club, ‘The Oeanside Surf Club,’ Circa 1964-65 (Not to be confused with Oceanside Surf Club, Oceanside Ca.). The club started in 1963 and was the first Surf Club in the state of Florida. Oceanside held surf meets that attracted all the big name surfers in the state like Gary Propper and Fletcher Sharpe, Mike Tabeling and many other legends. I tagged a few members i recognized, but not everyone who was in the club made this photo. The club members are listed below. Others are tagged but only those on the list below were actually in the club. If i made the mistake of mentioning anyone who was not actually in the club...well...you got a post honorary membership. Its been 50 years now and the memory just ain't what it used to be.
