Jax Beach Police Update Meeting
Wed. August 7 at 7PM
Beaches Library in Neptune Beach
Beaches Watch will host a Jacksonville Beach Police Update Meeting at the August Beaches Watch meeting on Wednesday, August 7 at 7 p.m. at the Beaches Branch Library Community Room, 600 3rd St., Neptune Beach. The meeting is open to the public.
The guest speakers will be Jax Beach Chief Pat Dooley and his division commanders Steve Corbitt and Gene Paul Smith. The police panel will be discussing the status of public safety issues in Jacksonville Beach including updates on the issues in downtown Jacksonville Beach, paid parking, homeless and the recent July fourth with the city-sponsored fireworks. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
"We are looking forward to the Beaches Watch meeting. We have done this for several years now and it is a great opportunity for the police department staff to interact with such an involved and informed group," said Jacksonville Beach Police Chief Pat Dooley.
